We are looking for 4 types of actors, corresponding to the different layers in the image: i) scientists and experts on body and mind, ii) experts on data handling, AI and modeling, iii) end-users across all health sectors, and iv) visionaries for advice on how to restructure our health eco-system.
Overview of the larger excellence cluster and health eco-system that we are setting up: Scientific experts on the body and mind (bottom layer), the data and hybrid AI infrastructure (middle layer), and the variety of end-users (top layer). In all of these aspects, we are looking for experts in current leading-edge processes, as well as visionaries regarding how things could work in the future.
We are interested in participation from both scientists, companies, organizations, societies, universities, governmental agencies, and private citizens. You can join in any of the four activities listed below. You can also sign up to become an early beta tester of the new digital twin technologies and eHealth apps.
In the bottom in blue, you see a variety of different experts and national and international experts on various aspects of the body. We are also integrating experts on the mind (e.g. psychologists), and are very interested in the crosstalk between the two, i.e. on psychosomatic crosstalk. Mechanistic hypotheses for how such crosstalk works can come from any tradition, i.e. also from e.g. yoga, and these hypotheses are treated just as biochemical or physiological hypotheses: i.e. they are tested, refined and validated using our methodologies for AI, modelling, and data-driven hypothesis testing.
In the middle to the right, you see the population data, and the training of ML models using federated learning, which learns from a multitude of large databases, located all over the world. In the middle to the left, in purple, you see the personal data vault, which integrates a copy of all available data about an individual, and which uses these data to personalize and continuously update the twin. Finally, this layer, which summarizes all available knowledge about a human being, personalized to you specifically, will become available via eHealth applications, which can be interacted with via LLM models.
In the top layer, you see all actors and sectors that will be able to interact with the twin. These span the entire life of the individual, i.e. start with actors related to young individuals (school, nurseries, sports organizations, etc), goes on with defense, preventive actors (gyms, yoga schools, personal trainers, etc), story tellers (gaming, music, dancing, etc), food industry, clothing industry, alternative living situations, drug development companies and pharmacies, traditional healthcare actors, all actors related to care of elderly (senior societies, assisted living, palliative care), and forensics.
In M4-HEALTH, we do not just want to implement these new technologies into existing societal structures, but also want to co-develop those structures together with the development of the new technologies.
